Before moving to the mountains, my wife and I spent 10 years in San Diego. While the weather and sunsets were beautiful, the sheer variety of breweries and styles were incredible.

Mountain life has brought us immense happiness, but a part of me still craved the San Diego craft beer scene. Home brewing has been the perfect solution! Now, I get to enjoy recreating my favorite stouts and experimenting with exciting new styles – all from the comfort of our mountain home.

There's only one problem with brewing my own beer – I might be making a bit too much! But that's where our fantastic Big Trees neighborhood comes in. Weather permitting, I'd love to host a monthly happy hour with free brews for all our full-time residents. It'd be a great way to get to know each other better!
